The Grand Monastery development is not only surrounded by slopes that offer great skiing, it also has many of its own in-house facilities that include a large Health Resort and Spar run by the famous Victoria Spar Centers., as well as indoor swimming pool and bowling alley. Just in case you do feel the need to venture out, the pretty mountain village of Pamporovo is just 2km away offering numerous authentic Bulgarian restaurants, bars, bowling and an outdoor ice rink.
The combination of the Grand Monastery, its facilities and positioning to the ski slopes makes this resort arguably one of the best ski resorts in Bulgaria. To top that it is also the sunniest ski resort in Europe with an average of 120 sunny days and winter temperatures that rarely drop below -7C.

Grand Monastery Location of Pamporovo

The Grand Monastery is nestled perfectly between the main Ski Slopes of Pamporovo in Rhodope Mountains. Whilst it is a true ski in ski out location, you are only a short distance from the village of Pamporovo with its bars, restaurants and minimart. Additionally you have the larger towns of Chepelare to the north and Smolyan to the south just a short bus ride away. Plovdiv can be found slightly further to the north.

The Grand Monastery Pamporovo offers an extensive range of luxury apartments for rent. All are perfectly situated for ski slopes to make it a true skier's paradise. The apartments range from; one, two & three bedrooms with en-suite bath/shower rooms to the main bedroom as well as guest bathroom. Most of these spacious apartments come with their own private balconies/terraces offering stunning views.
Many of the front balconies overlook the main building with far reaching views into the mountains. Others face out the back of the development with views of the ski slopes.
